The UK Government has decided to restrict the amount of Las-Vegas styled casinos to be built across Britain. It's been coined "the biggest shake-up in 40 years". Tony Blair originally stated that there would be 20-40 regional casinos to be built. This number has now been slashed to 8 across the whole of the UK. It's been enforced in reaction to the rising amount of gambling addicts. Opposition was also pressured by church and anti-gambling groups.
